Florence authorized Mayor Trey Gunn to request activation of the Williams Road Pedestrian Improvements Project through the Mississippi Department of Transportation Transportation Alternatives (TA) Program following City Engineer Tim Parker's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously.

City Engineer Tim Parker recommended that the city ask the Mississippi Department of Transportation to activate the Williams Road Pedestrian Improvements Project through MDOT's Transportation Alternatives (TA) Program. Alderman Brian Grantham moved to authorize and direct Mayor Trey Gunn to submit the request; Alderman John Banks seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. Alderman Mason Herrin briefly left the meeting during this item.
