Trustees at the Ector County ISD Board of Trustees meeting on Dec. 16 received a comprehensive update on Bond 2023 projects and spending. Associate Superintendent Dr. Anthony Sorola and Chief Financial Officer Albessa Chavez reported on active construction work including site fill and foundations at the Career & Technical Education Center; mechanical, electrical and plumbing progress at the new Adela & Gilbert Vasquez Middle School (approximately 45% complete); site preparation for the Transition Learning Center; Permian High School auditorium and JROTC facility work; agricultural farm demolition and trenching; and priority roofing and Travis Elementary renovations.
