The Park Rapids Area School Board approved a sequence of non-renewal resolutions covering specific employees and also approved a set of resolutions proposing unrequested leaves of absence. For the non-renewals the minutes list Ashley Hensel, Lindsay Johnson, Ryan Peterson, Kayla Vitti and Christina Zimmerman; each motion was recorded as passing "with Diekmann voting no." For the unrequested leaves, motions approving proposals for Chris Kirchner, Morgan Hagen, Jeb Sanford and Lee Skajewski were likewise recorded as passing with Diekmann voting no.
