County commissioners spent significant time on Jan. 12 discussing road and bridge issues across Smith County, reviewing potential routes, property coordination and infrastructure needs. Commissioner Jim Gwennap raised work on 40 Rd between P Rd and Q Rd and said he had spoken with landowners about routing for N Rd; Blade Foreman Gary Baetz noted fencing and an electric fence on DD Rd that must be moved before work can proceed.
