Court approves CAD contract, LPR renewal and siren software purchases

The fiscal court approved a five-year Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) agreement with Insight Public Sector for the sheriff’s office, at a cost not to exceed $84,000 annually under a state price contract; the motion carried unanimously. The court also approved a $33,000 determination to Flock Safety for annual renewal of license-plate-reader cameras and approved subscriptions and software purchases for Emergency Management’s siren systems, including a $6,300 CommanderOne app subscription and an $8,508 Federal Commander software determination to be reimbursed by the City of Bowling Green.
