Finance Director Silvia Luna presented Resolution 20205 seeking authorization to continue routine and necessary operating expenditures at FY 2025–26 budget levels until the fiscal year 2026–27 operating and capital improvement budget is formally adopted. Luna said the resolution is a stopgap measure to ensure payroll, benefits, vendor payments and other essential services continue uninterrupted while staff completes the budget process amid ongoing labor negotiations.
