Roane County authorizes Environmental Review Board bylaws and tightens attendance rules
Commission authorized the Environmental Review Board to develop bylaws and amended attendance rules so that members who miss three consecutive meetings or 50% of annual meetings can be replaced; both measures passed with recorded support.

The Roane County Commission passed two related resolutions concerning the Roane County Environmental Review Board (ERB). Resolution 12-25-05 authorized the ERB to draft, adopt and amend bylaws governing internal organization and operation provided they comply with law and are submitted to the commission for review. The resolution requires the ERB to keep current bylaws on file with the County Executive's Office.
