The board moved and carried several finance‑related actions during the meeting: permission to apply for a $125,000 Department of Criminal Justice Services Law Enforcement Technology (LE Tech) grant, acceptance of a $3,830 child passenger safety grant, and acceptance of a $5,950 traffic services grant from the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee. The sheriff told members there is "no county share" for the LE Tech grant and the motions carried after the usual 'aye' votes.
