Commission approves multiple property code violations resolutions
The Chanute City Commission read and approved a set of resolutions declaring seven properties in violation of municipal code; commissioners approved the batch without discussion and moved on to commission comments.

During the June 22 meeting the commission read several resolutions declaring specific properties to be in violation of the municipal code and then approved them by motion and voice vote. Properties listed included 218 West 7th; 916 North Forest; 610 South Evergreen; 1207 South Washington; 217 West 6th; 305 South Central; and 1612 South Highland. The item was presented as a group and no member requested separate discussion.
