Council presses staff for a clear 'golden thread' linking projects to plan

Several council members said the simplified plan must be matched by a clear way to show how projects and day‑to‑day work connect to the high‑level goals. One council member warned against a confusing dashboard: "I don't wanna do a 40 x dashboard and try to figure all that out. I think we need to make sure that whatever the 3 projects or 3 goals are doing, we need to have not some Rubik's cube's way of how you got Golden Thread connected, but a a direct, very clear, lineage to what you're doing is exactly this in here."
