The Board approved MRI Construction Proposal #606 for $3,500 to widen the E3 Basin control structure weir to the maximum width at the FPL easement and asked staff to provide before-and-after photos and consider a manual gate.

District Manager Cleo Adams presented MRI Construction Proposal #606 to widen the opening on the E3 Basin control structure. District Engineer Charlie Krebs explained the scope: using a concrete saw to widen the weir to the maximum width toward the Florida Power & Light easement so the community can move more water out of the basin; the Board approved the proposal for $3,500 on a motion by Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Bob Schultz.
