Board approves $7,026 repair order for nano‑bubble systems on three lakes

Following an inspection, Premier Lakes presented options to replace nano bubblers costing $25,000 or to replace pumps/compressors under a one‑time work order. The Board approved Premier's one‑time work order, amended and capped at $7,026, to restore aeration functionality on Lakes H1‑A, H1‑B and E7‑A.

Bill Kurth of Premier Lakes told the Board the lakes and dry retention areas are in good condition but that invasive vegetation and nano‑bubbler equipment issues require attention. Kurth presented a $25,000 manufacturer proposal from Mollier to replace nano bubble units and an alternative Premier One‑Time Work Order to replace nonstandard 8‑HP pumps, aeration compressors and check valves to get systems operational for evaluation.
