Road commission reports Brown Bridge repair target, culvert-to-bridge conversions
Joe Underwood of the GT County Road Commission told the council the Brown Bridge (Bietner) repair has a target date of Nov. 15 and the commission is considering converting culverts to bridges for longevity; intersection safety work at Walton/Summit City Road is also planned.

Joe Underwood of the Grand Traverse County Road Commission updated the council on local road projects, saying the Bietner/Brown Bridge repair has a target completion date of Nov. 15. Underwood also said the commission may replace some culverts with bridges to improve longevity and highlighted planned safety improvements at the Walton/Summit City Road intersection.
