The Aberdeen City Council voted June 8 to adopt Ordinance 26-004, a development-code revision that defines "data center" and makes the use not permitted in any city zoning district. Mayor Patrick McGrady opened the public hearing and allowed residents to comment; after closing the hearing the council moved, seconded, and approved the ordinance by a 4— vote.
