President Trump told reporters he would meet with Chinese officials in the coming weeks and said tariffs had strengthened U.S. negotiating power. "As of November 1, I could move it up if I wanted, a 100% tariff over and above what we get now," he said, adding that would make it "about 157%." Trump said China "doesn't want that, and they wanna talk."
