The Jasper County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 25 unanimously adopted Resolution 26-59, declaring Emergency Medical Services an essential service in Jasper County under Iowa Code Chapter 422D. The motion was made by Supervisor Talsma and seconded by Supervisor Cupples; the board recorded yea votes from Cupples, Nearmyer and Talsma.
