The Halifax County Electoral Board reconvened on Aug. 5, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Registrar’s office to begin certification of the Aug. 4 Dual Primary canvass. Vice Chairman Harry Jones was absent; Chair Kayla Wade called the meeting to order and the board discussed provisional ballots before proceeding with the Canvass.
