Coryell commissioners make multiple committee appointments, set meeting schedule

Commissioners designated the county’s regular meeting schedule for the next fiscal year (second and fourth Tuesday each month) and considered nominations and appointments to a series of regional committees. Several items were approved by motion and voice vote: Commissioner Kyle Matthews was appointed to the CITCOG Solid Waste Advisory Committee and as alternate county representative to the Killeen‑Temple MPO Transportation Planning Policy Board and Technical Advisory Committee; Justin Latham was appointed as the alternate to the MPO technical advisory committee; the court appointed representatives to the Belton Regional Habitat Conservation Plan steering and coordinating committees; and Commissioner Weddell volunteered to serve as the county alternate on the Hill Country Transit District board.
