Dr. Ron Stewart, the district’s capital projects manager, updated the board on the new middle school’s design timeline March 13. He said the district has hired a commissioning agent to test and verify systems, expects a hazardous-materials consultant to begin work in the coming weeks, and has completed schematic design; the project is now in design development through April.
