County Engineer Todd Larson updated the Stevens County Board on recent road work, including completed crossing replacements and paving operations that finished faster than expected. Larson said some projects came in slightly over budget but the county expects to be near the planned budget after adjustments; remaining construction work includes aggregate shouldering, ditch mowing and crushing operations.
