The Emergency Board Joint Interim Subcommittee on Higher Education approved allocating the first $7.5 million of a $15 million special purpose appropriation to the Higher Education Coordinating Commission to distribute to Southern Oregon University (SOU) to address an operational funding shortfall through June 30, 2027.
