Board hears $178,260 plan for trenchless CIPP sewer lining

The proposed budget allocates $178,260 for cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining as a method to rehabilitate sewer pipelines, Patricia Lamberty said during the Aug. 31 workshop. Lamberty described CIPP lining as a trenchless process that installs and cures a resin-saturated liner inside an existing pipe to create a new interior pipe without large-scale excavation.
