Planning commission conditionally approves Shumway mixed-use site plan
The Moab City Planning Commission voted 3-0 to conditionally approve Planning Resolution 1-20-26 for the Shumway mixed-use project at 1082 S. Highway 191, requiring final retaining-wall design approval by city engineering before a building permit is issued.

The Moab City Planning Commission on Jan. 8 conditionally approved a Level 2 site plan for the Shumway Mixed Use Development at 1082 South Highway 191, voting 3-0 in favor of Planning Resolution 1-20-26. Staff told commissioners the project meets zoning standards and development-review requirements but still needs a final retaining-wall design to be approved during the building-permit process.
