The Town of Nutter Fort council appointed Councilor Sam Maxson to an open seat on the Harrison County Development Board during the July 22 meeting. Recorder Natalie K. Haddix made the appointment motion; Councilor Rick Lafferty seconded, and the council approved the appointment in a roll-call vote.
