The Senate adopted Amendment 460 to authorize $5,000,000 for site development in the Innovation and Technology District in Devens, with the aim of supporting housing and mixed-use redevelopment. Senator Cronin, presenting the amendment, described regional housing pressures and the work of the Devens Housing Working Group, which had recommended up to 400 multifamily units and adaptive reuse of vacant historic buildings.
