Finance Supervisor Caroline Twombly told the Executive Committee she had solicited quotes from multiple vendors to restore an employee assistance program (EAP) that would provide short‑term counseling for employees and household members and offer critical‑incident support. She said the county previously had an EAP but discontinued it for lack of use and that the current proposals range under $4,000 per year depending on session counts and features.
