The DeKalb County Council approved the county budget on first reading after discussing several line items that staff said would be adjusted before adoption. Susan explained line items the auditor's office carries, including a $335,000 pass-through for the OCCRA sewer project and a $700,000 grant for drug testing that will only be spent if the grant is awarded.
