The Warren County Fiscal Court approved first readings of two budget ordinances on May 23. Esquire Tom Lawrence moved the first reading of Ordinance #25‑05WC amending the county budget; the motion passed on a roll call vote of seven yeas, no nays. Separately, Esquire Rick Williams moved the first reading of Ordinance #25‑06WC approving the county’s annual budget and appropriations for fiscal year 2025‑2026; that motion likewise passed 7‑0.
