Commission amends appointment, funds Piney Flats VFD and forms Property Tax Freeze Committee
The commission amended an appointment to the Industrial Development Board, appropriated funds to Piney Flats Volunteer Fire Department, and established a Property Tax Freeze Implementation Committee with several commissioners added to the committee roster. The August meeting date was moved to Aug. 31, 2026.

The board amended Resolution 26-07-04 to appoint John Rotty to the Washington County Industrial Development Board; the amendment and the amended resolution were adopted on voice vote and roll-call respectively. Separately, Resolution 26-07-17 authorized an appropriation to the Piney Flats Volunteer Fire Department and amended the FY27 budget; the resolution passed on roll call.
