Facilities staff described how the county’s central chiller system produces condensation that has led to repeated ceiling stains, particularly above some offices. "This is a water chillers system," Staff member (Speaker 7) said when explaining the building’s HVAC configuration and why condensation forms in certain ceiling locations. Staff noted drain pans and condensate lines feed back to mop closets and that weekly vacuuming of condensate lines reduces clogs but does not solve structural condensation where ductwork sits next to concrete.
