The council approved a slate of routine ordinances and contracts covering vendor payments, engineering and facilities work. Notable approvals included: acknowledgment of vendor payments for 05/08/2026–05/29/2026; a professional‑services agreement with Great River Engineering for an 8‑inch sewer line extension (not to exceed $39,900); an agreement with JCI Industries to rebuild a wastewater plant gearbox (not to exceed $85,000); and a contract with the Wilson Group for City Hall fountain repairs (not to exceed $68,496). All motions passed unanimously after waiving rules for first reading where applicable.
