The City of Jenkinsburg Council voted Nov. 10, 2025, to appoint a Special Event Committee. Jason Watts moved to appoint the committee, and Brent Eberspacher seconded. The minutes list the committee membership as Leona Roberts, Gary Roberts, Charles Barber, Stephanie Norton and Katie Lunsford; the motion passed unanimously (Jason Watts-aye, Joye England-aye, Gary Brown-aye, Gary Roberts-aye, Brent Eberspacher-aye).
