Drexel Heights approves joining Securis Insurance Pool for workers' compensation coverage
The board unanimously adopted Resolution 2026-06 authorizing membership in Securis Insurance Pool, Inc., to obtain workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance cooperatively. Chief Douglas Chappell described the proposal as "budget neutral" and noted Securis has been operating about five years.

The Drexel Heights Governing Board voted to approve Resolution 2026-06, authorizing the execution of an agreement to join Securis Insurance Pool, Inc., a not-for-profit cooperative for workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance pursuant to A.R.S. 11-952.01(B).
