City introduces fire-code and technical-code updates on first reading

The Daphne City Council on June 15 introduced two ordinances on first reading related to technical codes: Ordinance 2026-21 would repeal Ordinance No. 2019-33 and adopt the 2024 International Fire Code with local amendments; Ordinance 2026-22 would amend earlier technical-code adoptions (previously amended by Ordinance No. 2021-51).
