Staff outlines software option and fee structure for STR compliance

City staff told the commission about potential software solutions to manage STR licenses and inspections. Staff said a program could track up to 100 units, send automated reminders for annual fire inspections and Wyoming sales-tax requirements, and generate AI-produced correspondence. A staff member said: "The 1 I like the best was $1,500 a year. It would track, all of our short term rentals up to 100 units, and it would send them automatic responses that we would create for annual fire inspections, Wyoming sales tax, all those kind of things."
