Johnson County Library secures $2.6M state grant for Kaycee Library; library ballot question pulled
Library officials announced a $2.6 million Wyoming Library Multipurpose Community Facility Program grant for Kaycee Library and said the library portion of a specific-purpose tax question will be removed from the November ballot; signage will note the change at polling places.

Johnson County Library representatives Jennifer Bakken and Lindsey Belliveau told the Buffalo City Council the library had secured $2.6 million from the Wyoming Library Multipurpose Community Facility Program for the Kaycee Library. Belliveau said because of the award, “the portion of the specific purpose tax question on the November election ballot for funding for the Kaycee Library was no longer needed.”
