The Board approved a draft ordinance revising provisions for the senior citizen discount on the solid-waste non-ad valorem disposal assessment, clarifying that once the discount has been approved the resident does not need to reapply or requalify and that the agreement terminates when they leave the home. "The amendment clarifies that once the senior citizen discount has been approved, the resident does not need to reapply or qualify again, and the agreement terminates when they leave the home," Katie said.
