In his report the superintendent of public works said crews have completed paving 11th Avenue following sewer repairs and offered an update on the city's tree-planting program. "There were roughly 70 applicants," he said, and added that because some applicants request more than one tree, the number of trees planted could be closer to "like, a 130," depending on how many are replacements versus new plantings.
