The CEDA Regional Planning Commission on July 2 approved Case CSB-2026-04, a combined preliminary and final plat for Melody Parks — Arbor Phase 2 that would create 60 single-family lots and extend public right-of-way and utilities in the City of Springfield. Steven Thompson of the City of Springfield presented the case and said the subdivision is part of the Melody Parks Planned Development District, which was approved in 2022 and amended in March 2026. "The subdivision was planned for subarea 2 of the development," Thompson said.
