Assembly member Landon Dace announced a veterans summit scheduled for Oct. 15 at the Intrepid Museum on the Hudson River. He said the event will include labor council representative Gary LaBarbara, Steve Stern (chair of veterans affairs), Quanell Farrell (a U.S. Navy veteran), and possibly Rep. Max Rose and an admiral. "We're gonna have Gary LaBarbara from the labor council there... and, congressman Max Rose," Dace said on the program.
