Weybridge board endorses Preservation Trust grant application to study town hall and library

The Weybridge Select Board voted to endorse a local working group’s application to the Preservation Trust of Vermont’s Village Trust Initiative to explore options for the town hall and library, the board recorded. The endorsement authorizes the working group to submit the grant application and (by separate motion) a site-access/lease-intent letter to accompany the submission. "We are here this evening to ask for your support in endorsement in obtaining a grant from the Preservation Trust of Vermont," the working-group representative said when presenting the proposal.
