Union City Borough posted a public hearing for Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at First Global Methodist Church to solicit public comment on three proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance. The first item listed in the notice is a codification effort that explicitly references Zoning Ordinance #1118 and says the codification will "provide for the repeal of certain legislation not included therein; to save from repeal certain other legislation not included therein; and to provide penalties for tampering with the code."
