Staff updates: Mulberry stabilization request, downtown hotel work session and South Center redevelopment

At the June 25 meeting staff asked the commission for guidance on an administrative request to install cast‑iron tie rods and visible anchor plates to stabilize brick façades at 1212–1214 Mulberry Street. Staff noted the National Park Service guidance emphasizes reversibility for such interventions; commissioners generally supported stabilization while advising less ornate anchor plates where appropriate.
