AECOM representatives presented two finalist locations for Mitchell County's replacement transit facility and outlined advantages, risks and cost estimates for each site. Nathan Spencer of AECOM told commissioners, "The idea behind this is to fully provide you with all the information that, hopefully, you will need to make a decision on what site to move forward with, for a new facility." The presentation explained the team's fatal‑flaw screening and two remaining candidate parcels (referred to as Site 5 and Site 12).
