The Upper Dublin School District board rejected a parents'requested exception to school-assignment policy that would have placed siblings together at Fort Washington Elementary, voting 2'in favor and 6'against after an extended debate over policy precedent and the "arbitrary or capricious" standard in Policy 206.

At its Aug. 25 legislative meeting, the Upper Dublin School District Board of School Directors voted down a motion to grant a family'requested exception to the district's school-assignment policy. The motion, made by board member Dr. Berto and seconded by Brooke Evans, failed on a voice vote, 2 in favor and 6 opposed.
