Commissioners appoint Sandra Merrill to Wilkinson Public Library board
After the library board recommended Sandra Merrill based on budgeting experience, commissioners voted unanimously to appoint her to an unexpired term ending Dec. 31.

During item 7a, the board considered an appointment to the Wilkinson Public Library board to fill an unexpired term through Dec. 31. Peggy (speaker 8), representing the library board, said four qualified applicants applied and recommended Sandra Merrill "based on her experience with budgeting." Commissioner (speaker 4) moved to appoint Sandra Merrill to the Wilkinson Public Library board; the motion carried with the three commissioners voting aye.
