Commissioner Sippel presses city on ParkMobile errors and $15 ticket reversal fee
Commissioner Sippel asked why ParkMobile lacks an option to correct a mistaken space entry and raised concerns that users must pay twice; staff said the city will void tickets when provided documentation but charges a $15 administrative fee in addition to parking costs.

Commissioner Sippel told the board she had seen cases in which a motorist enters the wrong space number in ParkMobile and then must pay a second time to correct the error. "Why is there no way to correct an error if you put in the wrong parking space, etcetera? You have to start a 2nd transaction and pay twice," Sippel said, pressing staff for clarity on who can reverse a resulting citation.
