Council approved a lease and purchase agreement authorizing the mayor to sign for approximately $100,000 in financing from the WAM/WCCA joint oversight board to replace deteriorating Main Street lamp posts with LED fixtures. City staff described many of the current fixtures as obsolete and unsafe at their electrical connections; the new fixtures will be LED and a "hanger" style, and staff indicated they plan to start with a block and a half and continue work over time.
