On July 13, 2026, the Stuart City Council convened a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. for a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) work session on an application submitted by Inder Singh of Central Mart I, LLC for a proposed TravelAmerica development on South Division Street. Deputy Clerk Sarah Stouffer noted in the minutes, "The Council held a TIF (Tax Increment Financing) Work Session regarding the TIF application submitted by Inder Singh of Central Mart I, LLC for the proposed TravelAmerica site on South Division Street." The minutes show no formal council action on the application during this session.
