Rick Dickinson, a citizen who said he drafted a certified letter to the developer, asked the board to consider using his five-point analysis to inform the developer that the airport site as proposed is unsuitable. He cited proximity to the runway, extreme elevation differences, potential vapor/heat plumes, flight-training conflicts with a nearby flight school, and stormwater-retention features that could attract birds.
